Quick Links Available for New Responsive Sites (Launched After October 2023)
- Quick Links are the third Element type to be introduced in the Catalis CMS, following Alerts and Sliders. Quick Links,
- Elements are reusable content types that are not standalone pages. Instead, they’re designed to automatically display within other pages—helping to streamline content management and enhance user experience.
What are Quick Links?
- Quick Links are banner-style elements that display a row of icons with corresponding links, allowing users to quickly access important pages or tools. They’re designed to appear prominently on other pages—such as homepages or dashboards—and can be easily updated through the CMS.
How to Use Quick Links:
- Create Quick Links – Adding Quick Links is as simple as creating a new page. You can manage, edit, or reorder quick links like any other site content type. You also have access to new Fontawesome icons and can add your own.
- Automatic Promotion – The Quick Links content type works as a promotion into a page to show a list of icons with links. This is usually promoted above the content but below a slider, but can also be placed below the content..
Important Note for Existing Clients:
This feature is available for newer responsive design sites launched after October 2023. For older designs, a design update is required. If you have an older responsive design and would like to use the Alerts feature, contact our team at munisupport@catalisgov.com for a quote.
