Sliders Available for New Responsive Sites (Launched After October 2023)
We’re excited to introduce Sliders as a second easy-to-use Element designed to bring hero images or sliders to your site’s pages.
What’s New?
- Sliders is a new Element type with Catalis CMS. This is our second collection of Elements being introduced, Alerts being the first. Elements are content types designed to provide specific page purposes.
How to Use Sliders:
- Create Sliders – Adding a slider is as simple as creating a new page. You can manage, edit, or reorder images like any other site content type.
- Automatic Promotion – Sliders are automatically promoted to the top of the page once added. You can place them on multiple pages with ease.
Image Cropping now Available
Images can now be cropped when you attach them to a piece of content. You can select the piece of the image that you want displayed on a page once you attach an image to a piece of content.
Other Enhancements
- Documents – A special setting “Sort Folders Descending” is available in the Documents Content type. If the “Display subfolders” is enable to Yes and “Sort Folders Descending” is enable to Yes, the live site will sort the folders descending. The Documents tab, Folders, Sub Folders will remain as is (ascending).
- Calendar – Live Site “Save to your calendar” will now convert to time zones.
Important Note for Existing Clients:
Sliders are available for newer responsive design sites launched after October 2023. If you have an older responsive design and would like to use the Alerts feature, feel free to contact our team at munisupport@catalisgov.com for assistance.
